Atlantic School of Theology was established in 1971 by the Anglican, Roman Catholic and United Churches for the theological training of both clergy and laity. It is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, and offers graduate preparation programmes (M.Div., M.T.S., and M.Th.). In addition, AST conducts an extensive range of continuing education seminars and workshops throughout the Atlantic Region.
Because of its long history of ecumenical co-operation AST was selected by the Atonement Friars as the Atlantic Canada location for this prestigious programme.
